In John 10:10 Jesus says, “I have come that you may have life and have it to the full.” We can call this the good life, the abundant life, or life to the full. Isn’t this what we all long for? To have a good life? In our new sermon series on John’s gospel Jesus tells us that this full life is found in him, “these are written that you may believe that Jesus is the Messiah, the Son of God, and that by believing you may have life in his name” (Jn 20:31). John’s Gospel is all about Life. So, as we walk through the second half of John’s gospel chapter by chapter we are going to be asking: What is this life? How do we get it? What does it look like? Each week we will give us a different piece to the puzzle of what this life is like. Our goal is that by the end of the series, the puzzle pieces will be put together to paint a picture of finding life in Christ.
