Care + Support

Christ Church offers several ways to provide support for
your specific area of need.

Crisis Help

Crisis needs can strike any of us at any time. If that moment has come for you, turn to us. We are here for you with the hope of the gospel and capacity to help you take your next steps toward meeting your needs. If we are unable to give you direct assistance, we have extensive knowledge of crisis agencies, churches and organizations in the Lake County area that can give you the help you need.

If you need to talk or have a prayer request, please call the church office at 847-234-1001 for immediate help.

If you are homeless, your best first contact is PADS of Lake County. You can reach them at (847) 689-4357.

Spiritual Check-in

Are you wondering how you can take the next steps in your faith journey? What is working or not working as you seek to be a Christ follower? If you are feeling disconnected, weary and confused about how to grow stronger as a believer, sign up with the 1-1 Care Ministry for a spiritual
check-in.

1 to 1 Care

Our 1 to 1 Care Ministry provides a Care Companion to come alongside you if you are facing a spiritual crisis, life challenge, or a time of loneliness or discouragement. There are times when each of us needs the confidential care and support of another person. Our Care Companions are trained men and women lay volunteers, who will provide you with a caring, nonjudgmental place to be listened to for emotional and spiritual care.

Prayer Support

Need prayer? The best way to get your prayer request to us is by using the prayer request form or by calling the church during office hours at 847-234-1001. When you leave a message by phone or form please indicate the urgency (ie. date of surgery…) and let us know if you’d like a follow up call.

On the weekends, prayer teams are in the buildings throughout the services, and will be delighted to pray for or with you.  Just ask someone with an Ask Me nametag.

Practical Help

For when a crisis suddenly presents itself and you find yourself unprepared. Or when the challenges of life seem to conspire against you and you don’t have enough food in you pantry; or you can’t afford to fix your leaking roof there are people at Christ Church who might be able to help.

Support Groups

At Christ Church, we offer a variety of support groups for those who are going through some of life’s toughest situations including divorce, cancer, and grief. Explore these support group opportunities to learn more and begin to heal.

Pastoral Care

For pastoral care and support we encourage you to contact your campus pastor.
Please locate the nearest campus to you so the pastor may reach out to you.
