POSITION SUMMARY:
Campus pastors play a vital role in multi-site ministry. This position is the key leader of the team (both paid and volunteer), the direct carrier of the Christ Church DNA, and the primary pastor of the congregation.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- The campus pastor has two primary responsibilities:
1) The overall health and vibrancy of the campus;
2) The growth of the campus. Subsumed under those primary objectives are a number of items:
- Building a team among their campus staff and volunteers
- Recruiting, training, motivating and caring for all of the volunteers necessary for the work of the Gospel to go forward
- Attending to the pastoral needs of their people – i.e., weddings, funerals, baptisms, child dedications, counseling, etc.
- Regular preaching and teaching responsibilities
- Completing work assignments in a timely manner
- Operating within a budget
NON-ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Attending all required training and meetings (staff, one-on-one, team, etc.)
- Maintaining a positive and professional demeanor towards co-workers, vendors, and guests
- Adhering to all policies and procedures of Christ Church
- Performing other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Masters degree or equivalent (MDiv preferred)
- A heart for God, a love for His people and a passion to grow His kingdom
- Ability to provide up-front leadership during weekend services
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- A knowledge of Microsoft office and Google Drive
- An ability to multi-task effectively
- An ability to work independently and as a member of a team
- An ability to solve problems and cope under pressure

- An understanding of the Constitution and ByLaws of Christ Church
