Spiritual Direction
Susan Neaman: sneaman@christchurchil.org
Spiritual Direction can be life-giving and transforming as one begins to sense where God is leading, hovering, teaching, healing and offering His love. Listening to the leading of the Holy Spirit includes moments of savoring the joys in life or sifting through the hard life trials we experience. This unique time with a Spiritual Director is confidential and helps one draw closer to the Lord in whatever situation has arisen. Christ Church offers and initial meeting with a certified Spiritual Director at no charge, at which point you can decide if you’d like to pursue Spiritual Direction on a monthly basis. Ongoing cost details would be discussed at your first session.

Small Group Women's Bible Study
Wednesdays, 9:30-11am
Starting September 13
Lake Forest Campus
Of the two books of the Bible named after women, one was a Jewish girl who married a prominent Gentile (Esther and King Ahasuerus) and the other was a Gentile woman who married a prominent Hebrew (Ruth and Boaz). Both women were part of God’s redemptive history: He used Esther to save His people from physical destruction and He used Ruth as an important genealogical link in the messianic line, first to David, and ultimately to Christ.
