On Wednesday night Oct. 1, Roy Schwarz of Chosen People Ministries will be conducting a Messianic Yom Kippur worship service in the CCHP sanctuary. Yom Kippur is the Jewish “Day of Atonement” and is the holiest day of the year in the Jewish calendar. The day is focused on repentance, atonement and fasting. Roy will showing how this traditional holiday has always pointed to the atonement that would ultimately come through the promised Messiah, and how those promises of atonement found their fulfillment uniquely in Jesus of Nazareth.
