At Christ Church, we believe that child dedications are a beautiful and sacred time for your family as you continue your journey with God. It is a public celebration of your decision to devote yourselves to raising your child in a God-honoring home.
We invite all parents interested in learning more about this meaningful milestone to our upcoming Child Dedication Class on Sunday, October 19, 2025, from 12:15 PM to 1:30 PM.
This class is a prerequisite for participating in a dedication service. During our time together, we will have the privilege of sharing how you can express your full appreciation to God as you present your child before the church. We’ll discuss the biblical foundation of dedication, drawing from passages like Deuteronomy 6, which instructs us to:
“Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength. These commandments that I give you today are to be on your hearts. Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up.” (Deuteronomy 6:5-7, NIV)
This class will provide a space for us to connect, answer your questions, and prepare your hearts for this special commitment to raising your child in the love and truth of Christ.
