Congratulations, you are wise to start your day by reflecting on God’s Word. As the Book of Hebrews notes, the Bible is alive, able to shape us and able to draw us more fully into God’s presence.

Our topic today is faith. Here are a few things you need to know:

  • Many talk about it, but not everyone understands it.
  • Given our society’s shift towards a post-truth culture, it may have never been more important to make sure you understand what truth is, and what it is not.
  • What is currently celebrated by many is sincerity. Indeed, many act as though whatever we want to be true is true if we believe it sincerely enough.
  • We must not let this kind of thinking be confused with the Bible’s use of the term faith. Christianity makes historical claims, and it rises or falls on the person and work of Christ. As Paul notes in I Corinthians 15, if the tomb wasn’t empty, the whole thing is a joke.
Press On,
