POSITION SUMMARY:

To provide oversight for audio/visual technology needs for the weekend worship services at a Christ Church location.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Either execute or make arrangements for the keying of the stage for weekend services and rehearsals for the weekend services at Church. (occasionally for mid-week events as well)
Responsible for weekly production of media scripts for the main services. At times, the Tech Coordinator will be available for developing visuals, and assisting volunteers to develop visuals for other services and events.
Assist Christ Church Multi-Media Tech Coordinator in managing and organizing all tech and media resources including mics, amps, cables, all video and projection equipment and consumables (batteries, bulbs, etc.) for Church campus. Working with the Multi-Media Tech Coordinator keep all resources in service-ready status, including scheduling of repair.
Run sound and visuals for the weekend services at Church campus, or coordinate services to be covered by a volunteer.

NON-ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Attends all required training, in-service, and staff meetings
Strives to maintain a safe working environment through the prevention of accidents, the preservation of equipment, and the achievement of safe working practices
Maintains a positive and professional demeanor towards co-workers, vendors, and guests
Adheres to all policies and procedures of Christ Church
Performs other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

A love for God and a love for people, a personal love for and commitment to worship, a servant leader, a teachable spirit, and flexibility in working in concert with other ministry team members. The ability to work well with a team, including worship leaders, worship team members, and a team of tech volunteers. Displays and models the fruit of the spirit in their life and work.
Experience mixing live music.
Knowledge of and experience with applicable A/V equipment
Ability to effectively train volunteers in sound mixing, running visuals in the services, and production of visuals
Some knowledge of Windows/Mac
Experience with ProPresenter or equivalent software
