As you know, we are moving through an interesting moment. In light of this, I have taped a seven minute video with several important updates and some words of perspective. Among other things:

  • I note that our big service at the Genesee theater this weekend has been postponed indefinitely. Instead, we will hold regular services at all three campuses, and we are developing an online service for those who chose to stay home.
  • I make a few comments about our commitment to your safety and ask any of you who may have been exposed to the virus to avoid the church.
  • I note that things are changing quickly, ask you to expect more frequent communication from me and also direct you to the website – which we will be making the Go-To spot for all updates.
  • Finally, but most importantly, I ask that you let your perspective be framed by the promises of God. In fact, I encourage a four-fold response: Facts not fear. Care for the Vulnerable. Clean Hands. Open Hearts.
Thanks for reading this. I do hope you’ll watch the video. And I also hope you know the peace of Christ today.
Press On,
Mike Woodruff
