The Bible is the most influential book ever written — and one of the most misunderstood. It has shaped civilizations, inspired reformers, comforted the suffering, and transformed billions of lives across thousands of years. Yet for many people, knowing where to start — or how all 66 books, dozens of authors, and centuries of history actually fit together — can feel overwhelming.
That’s exactly what this seminar is for.
On September 12th, Christ Church teaching pastor Mike Woodruff will lead a compelling two-hour overview of the Bible — its historical setting, literary structure, and the central theological message that ties it all together. Together we’ll trace the grand story of Scripture from creation to new creation, explore the major turning points in biblical history, and discover how the Old and New Testaments form one unified, coherent narrative centered on God’s redemptive work in the world.
Whether you’ve never opened a Bible or you’ve studied it for years, this seminar will help you step back, see the whole picture, and read Scripture with greater clarity, confidence, and appreciation.
