Faith and Politics: Lakelight Institute Class

January 23 @ 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm

Faith and Politics | Dr. Vincent Bacote (Feb 2023)

Classes are Mondays at 7 PM starting January 23 at the Lake Forest campus and online.

The gospel heralds Jesus Christ as King over all the earth. But what does that mean for how Christians should approach contemporary political issues? How should Christians vote? What should they expect from the government? Now more than ever, it seems we need clear thinking on these matters. This class is designed to probe such questions, setting them in the light of Scripture, ultimately for the purpose of empowering Christians to live faithfully in turbulent times.

Lakelight classes are designed for anyone who wants to take a step beyond a normal Bible study, but not ready to jump into a seminary class. We bring in content experts who provide instruction around reading and facilitated conversations, but no grades or project feedback provided from the instructors. Class fees, including reading materials, are $39.
