POSITION SUMMARY

Under the direction of the Creative Director, the Digital Marketing Specialist is responsible for building, implementing, and managing Christ Church’s online presence as part of the integrated marketing strategy to support the growth and expansion of the church. Daily activities include strategic planning and implementation, content creation and management, behavior marketing analysis, audience targeting, search engine itemization (SEO), social media management as well as participating in team strategy collaboration.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Plan and manage content related to events and campaigns for Christ Church across all digital channels – website, social media, You Tube, or any platform that fits within the marketing strategy goals.

· Analyze digital data to draw key recommendations around web optimization and communicate important best practices, industry trends and platform updates

· Conduct social media audits to ensure best practices are being used

· Manage external digital services and accounts that are used by the Christ Church marketing team

· Maintain a digital dashboard of several different accounts and report monthly for all staff review

· Create and execute marketing plans on all connected CC digital platforms

· Coordinate email campaigns and newsletters

· Monitor key online marketing metrics to track success

· Create and maintain online listings across local message boards news sites, and other digital platforms

· Ensure that the branding and messaging remains consistent across all platforms and assets

OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Attends all required trainings and staff meetings.

· Maintains a positive and professional demeanor towards co-workers, vendors, and guests.

· Adheres to all policies and procedures of Christ Church.

· Performs other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

· Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university, or at least two years’ experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

· Experience working with non-profit and/or Christian Ministry organizations a plus

· Proficient with MS Office 365 products

· Proficient with WordPress and CMS systems

· Strong analysis, problem resolution, judgement, and decision-making skills

· Demonstrates solid communication skills both verbally and in written format

· Experience in website applications including but not limited to technical and content

· Experience with marketing and web software

· Demonstrated ability to organize and plan own work

· Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously

· Agreement of Christ Church’s Statement of Faith.

· Willingness to serve in and/or outside the church.
