North Chicago Community Partners (NCCP) was formed in 2008 in direct response to the lack of outside support for academic challenges facing the children of this community. Since then, NCCP has forged a deep and thoughtful district-wide partnership with Community Unit School District 187 (CUSD 187) and currently plays a multitude of roles. NCCP designs and implements programming, but also serves as a facilitator, a coordinator, a matchmaker and a highly regarded strategic partner to the district. It is our privilege to work alongside CUSD 187 and to mobilize the broader community so all children receive the quality education they deserve. Are you looking for a meaningful way to give back to a local community? Do you want to be the one that helps a child succeed?
Our long-time partner, North Chicago Community Partners (NCCP), is looking for passionate and dedicated volunteers to serve K-5 students in their After School Enrichment Program. As a volunteer, you would tutor and mentor North Chicago students while helping them rebuild critical social and emotional skills that have been impacted due to the pandemic.
NCCP is looking for volunteers to serve at least once a week from 3-5 pm on Mondays, Tuesday, and/or Thursdays. Make a difference in a child’s life by signing up to volunteer today.
