Survey of the Old Testament

Have you ever wondered what the OT is all about? Have you ever tried reading the OT and found yourself getting bogged down before you even get to Deuteronomy? Have you been curious about whether the OT and NT are revealing the same loving God that is shown in the incarnate Christ? How do the Old and New Testaments relate to one another? Do you want to better understand the History of the Jewish People?
This will be a 10 session class that brings participants a high level overview of the Old Testament. The survey course will include lecture and interactive components over the course of 10 weeks, 90 minute session.

Awana is a nondenominational children’s ministry committed to reaching boys and girls with the Gospel of Jesus Christ while training them to serve Him. At Awana, children play games, memorize Bible verses and learn Bible lessons throughout the school year.
At this time, we are working on a number of scenarios for the fall. We plan to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ with as many kids as possible in the safest environment possible. Details on how that will look will be coming out soon.

Because your sons and daughters stand on the threshold of adulthood, Christ Church is excited to offer them a formal, relevant, and practical Biblical education to help prepare them for life beyond Middle School. Beginning in the Fall, Christ Church offers the COMPASS class, designed to help 8th graders take their faith in Jesus Christ to the next level in preparation for the rigors of high school. Students will learn the core tenets of the Christian faith while building relationships with other 8th grade students.
Compass meets every other Sunday night from September to May. The first Compass meeting will be on September 13, 2020.

The Justice Center is a charitable legal aid ministry serving the needs of no-income, low-income, and even middle-income individuals in need. We are committed to bringing practical help in justice matters. We deal with landlord/tenant situations, contract disputes, custody enforcement, child support issues, fraud, and many other civil issues.
The Justice Center is open the first Saturday of each month at Christ Church Crossroads and the second Saturday of each month at Christ Church Highland Park.
